The Art of Mahjong
Founded by Lauren Casey and Catherine Lubner, Southwest Florida Mahjong grew from a shared love of the game. Soon joined by Susan Frantz, they built a thriving community rooted in skill, friendship, and connection.
Through their podcast, At the Table with SWFL Mahjong, the team shares Mahjong strategy, stories, and plenty of laughs. They also create thoughtfully curated events that are welcoming, social, and elevated bringing together great play and great company.
From Naples and Bonita Springs to Fort Myers, you're invited to learn, play, and connect.

At Southwest Florida Mahjong, we believe in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for learning. We play by the National Mahjong League rules, ensuring an authentic experience.
Our approach starts with a focus on understanding the pace of play, without the distraction of the card. This allows new players to grasp the fundamentals and flow of the game. Once you’re comfortable, we introduce the card in Mahjong 101, enhancing your strategic play.
We emphasize fun and encouragement throughout the learning process, making sure everyone feels confident and excited to join in. Our goal is to foster a love for Mahjong while building friendships along the way!
